ACWW Women Walk the World 29th April 2014
On this date members of ACWW in over 70 countries, walk to raise funds to help the organisation meet its aims and objectives. This includes the projects of the ACWW (Associated Countrywomen of the World), whose work includes financially support to groups of women in needy areas, who have a specific project in mind to improve conditions in their locality. Walks can be of any length. Exeter members chose to walk down School Lane and then to cut through the fields to Rockleigh Road and then to the essential lunch spot at Exeter Store.
